Visible is a short documentary that draws attention to the efforts of communities at Fordham University Lincoln Center in addressing the issues and significance of Asian American hostility and representation. This documentary is an example of how the community of Fordham creates visibility toward its Asian American counterparts.
I interviewed Fordham leaders, learners, and members of the Asian American community at Fordham. Bringing light to the efforts made by their partners, this documentary touches on how their contributions foster inclusivity and engagement at Fordham, while constituting an impact at large. As we hear from some of these leading members of Fordham University, we can gain an important understanding of how we can continue to recognize and represent marginalized communities and make them "visible."
I collaborated with Professor Hamidreza Nassiri of Fordham University to direct, produce, and edit a short documentary about an "issue" within our communities.
